Description by Nicolai Buch-Andersen(from Google Play)
*** WARNING: This is the original version of Glass Widgets, developed for Android Froyo and Gingerbread. It is only available for backward compatibility reasons. It is no longer actively maintained and will most likely never see an update again. Please consider using the regular 'Glass Widgets' app instead. ***
Glass Widgets is yet another pack of basic home screen widgets. The widgets all have a nice uniform design and are semi-transparent, allowing you to enjoy your wallpaper while still getting the information you need.
It includes the following widgets:
* Glass Clock Widget Enter a city name, or use geolocation to automatically find your location. Add more than one clock widget to your home screen in order to follow the time and weather around the world.
* Glass Calendar Widget See the current date, along with the next events in your calendar. Resizeable and scrollable.
* Glass News Widget Read your favorite RSS/Atom feeds from your home screen. Select one of the build in feeds (Google News, BBC, Reuters, WIRED ect.) or add your own custom feed. Resizeable and scrollable.
* Glass All-In-One Widget All the above widgets combined into one 4x3 widget.
FREE & PAID VERSIONS:
All the widgets are semi-transparent, with a nice smoked glass look. The paid version will allow you to change the tint and transparency of the background and text as you wish.

Forecast broken last update broke the forecast. All question marks. My data is fine and I have cleared app cache as well as whack and reinstall. No love. -UPDATE 5/25: New update fixed forecast. Please don't break it again!
★★☆☆☆
I've read some reviews on the Play store about this app and I must admit that I'm still a bit confused 😕 There are differences of opinions between the people writing their reviews. I've uninstalled this widget (app) because the clock is slow, and it crashes during the setup every time I am trying to scroll through the selection of applications to start.
