Gloam: Voice Journal & Diary

Gloam is a private voice journal. Speak for a minute or three — about your day, a worry, a small win — and Gloam turns it into a written entry, a warm reflection, and a clear picture of how you're really doing over time.

Most journaling apps transcribe your voice and throw the audio away. Gloam actually listens. Your tone, pace and pauses are analyzed entirely on your phone, so your journal knows not just what you said, but how you sounded saying it. Sometimes the words say "fine" and the voice says otherwise. Gloam notices — gently.

WHY GLOAM IS DIFFERENT

🎙️ It hears more than words
On-device voice analysis reads the mood carried in your voice and compares it with your words. And it's calibrated to you: Gloam learns what you usually sound like and only speaks up when something genuinely shifts from your own norm.

🔒 Private by design
• Your voice recordings never leave your phone
• Entries live in an encrypted database, behind an optional app lock
• No account, no sign-up
• All voice-tone analysis happens 100% on-device
• AI reflections use only your transcript text, sent securely — never your audio

🪞 Warm, not clinical
After each entry you get a short, warm reflection and one thoughtful follow-up question. No lectures, no formulaic pep talks, no scores shouting at you.

WHAT YOU GET

• Voice-first journaling — talk instead of typing; transcription runs on your phone and works offline
• Speak your language — transcription in many languages; interface in English, German, French, Japanese and Korean
• Mood arc — a "said vs. sounded" chart: what your words claimed, and what your voice carried
• Weekly report — a warm look back at your week: entries, streaks, themes, and how you sounded. Free forever.
• Gentle reminders — an optional, quiet nudge at your chosen time
• Your history, always yours — playback and search stay open forever. We never lock your own words away.

A NOTE ON CARE

Gloam is a companion for reflection, self-awareness and unwinding — not a medical or diagnostic tool. Voice insights are soft observations about tone, never judgments or assessments.

Your thoughts deserve a place that listens and keeps them safe. Press record, and let go of the day.
