globby is a colourful 3D globe that teaches children the countries of the world. Turn the planet, tap any country, and Globie — a friendly cartoon teacher — reads a lesson aloud: the country's name and capital, then its land, animals, food, music and a famous place.
Made for exploring, not for homework

Say a country
• Press the microphone and say a country in your own language — “Japan”, “日本”, “ژاپن” — and the globe turns there and Globie starts the lesson
• It works offline: the phone itself works out the country, and the recording never leaves the phone and is deleted right after

How a lesson begins
“Japan is an island country in East Asia. Its capital city is Tokyo. Japan is famous for sushi, anime, cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji.” In a full lesson Globie then carries on — mountains and hot springs, snow monkeys, bullet trains, festivals and more.
