Glossa

Glossa is a language course for adults who want to learn a language properly, step by step, from the first words to C1.

COURSES FOR ENGLISH SPEAKERS
Russian, Swedish, Spanish (Spain), French (France) and German (Germany). Each course runs from A1 to C1 in eight tiers of modules. In Russian and Swedish, specialist modules in 12 professional fields, such as law, finance, IT, engineering and diplomacy, take you from B2 towards C1 in the language of your work.

EVERY WORD EXPLAINED
Tap any word in the course to see what it means, all of its forms and the grammar behind it, and to hear it spoken.

FOURTEEN KINDS OF EXERCISE
Listening, dictation, reading, word order, translation, multiple choice, matching, pronunciation practice with speech assessment, essays graded against a rubric, and more. Every module ends with an exam.

FEEDBACK THAT EXPLAINS
Answers are checked word by word. When something is wrong, Glossa shows what was wrong and why.

PRACTICE WORDS
Words you meet go into your practice deck for spaced review in both directions. Glossa estimates your vocabulary level against research-based CEFR word counts.

GRAMMAR REFERENCE AND ASK AI
Look up any grammar topic, or ask the AI tutor a question about the language.

NO GAMIFICATION
No streaks, points, badges or leagues. Progress is shown as plain facts: how much of the course you have completed and your vocabulary level.
