I'm Scott, aka Gluten Dude. I was diagnosed with celiac in 2007 and started blogging in 2011 to help others navigate the same overwhelming path. For over 15 years, I’ve been advocating for this community, calling out the BS, raising awareness, and pushing for better support.

I love how practical this app is, offering travel routes with safe gluten-free options for people with Celiac along the highway, in airports, and at a destination. The app was already a great place to find vetted restaurants even in airports, and the added travel planner is even more convenient. Highly recommend for travelers with Celiac or other medical reasons to avoid gluten!

The subscription cost is high for information that isn't very useful. It doesn't link to gluten-free menu information, and it doesn't indicate which items are gluten-free. Every time I tried to use it, I was disappointed in the amount of information. I paid for this app for several months, and it wasn't worth it at all.

For the developer, I tried signing in quite a few times with a password containing both 6 then 7 digits to fit the 6 - 12 digit requirement. The app kept saying I did not have enough digits!

Bring back old version! Recent update has rendered it mostly useless for Android users. The best part of the old version was being able to search for restaurants inside the airport. Now when I search for an airport it only shows restaurants near the airport but not inside the airport.

The app is fine, but it lists so few places that it's not very useful if you want to find new places. Yeah yeah, the vetting process is their secret sauce, but it fails miserably at being useful. There are places listed that I *know* are not safe. There are places that are "safe" but have no real options. There are dedicated GF places that are missing. I'm going to personally vet any place I eat anyway, so I'd much rather use a different app that shows me the full list and gives me choices.
