GMD GestureControl ★ root

★★★★★ Updated to the new version from way way way old version for my new ZTE Axon 7. Works almost flawlessly. It's a must for a rooted phone. Can't stress this enough. Flash function crashes GMD. Power menu just turns off the screen. Most browser functions don't work with default ZTE browser. I can assign per app gestures just fine, but reverting back to default gesture crashes GMD. Hope these bugs get fixed soon. Thank you for such great app.

★★★★★ Google pixel 8.1 is no longer supported with the current root method. Crossing my fingers for an update or will go back sooner or later. Update: it works like a champ! Worth the $5 for gestures.

★★☆☆☆ App has potential and I enjoyed using it. But it is a huge memory hog,seems to even have a memory leak, and my emails to the developer have never been responded to or even acknowledged. Eventually I just had to remove the app, alas. I also had purchased GMD SPen Control and the same issues eventually caused me to uninstall as well. I did also note that, because all the gesture selection dialogues are shared between GMD Gesture Control and GMD SPen Control, many choices are offered on both apps which do not apply and really should ot be appearing. As a software developer myself, I would call that "sloppy programming." It is a shame because touch and SPen gestures could add so much to the user experience on any Android Device and in particular on the Samsung Galaxy Note line. Both apps also cost waaaay more than most apps (aroiund US $5.00). Clearly, the developer has exhibited a high level of sophistication in Android programming, but for that cost, I would presume that both customer service and attention to reported bugs would have been available. If these should improve, I will consider updating this review.
