Kidding season, FAMACHA checks, medication withdrawal windows, who's due to freshen — goat keeping runs on records, and Goat Companion is built to keep them without a cloud account or a subscription in sight.
No account. No cloud. No ads.

• App Lock — protect sensitive areas with your fingerprint, face, or device passcode
• Full data export to CSV, plus a printable herd project book (PDF) for 4-H and FFA records
BACK UP YOUR RECORDS, YOUR WAY
Create a backup archive of your entire herd on request — optionally password-protected — and hand it to your device's own share sheet to save wherever you like or move to a new phone. We never see it or receive a copy.
GOAT COMPANION PRO
A single one-time purchase unlocks the full app: breeding and kidding records, fiber tracking, financial reports and CSV export, the printable herd project book, and journal photo attachments. Pay once — it's yours forever. No subscription, nothing to renew.
YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Goat Companion is local-first by design. Every goat profile, health record, medication entry, and journal note is stored on your phone and nowhere else. There's no account to create, no server to sync to, and no analytics watching what you do.
The app only reaches the network for three things: validating a Pro purchase (RevenueCat); fetching a local forecast if you view the weather widget (your approximate location goes to Open-Meteo, which doesn't retain it); and transcribing voice input if you use it (audio is processed in real time by your device's built-in speech recognition — Google's service on Android — and isn't stored by us). All three are optional or tied to a feature you choose to use.
Supports Nubians, Boers, Nigerian Dwarves, Angoras, and every other dairy, meat, and fiber breed.
