A good app...but as with any Green Dot "Bank," there are drawbacks. The hassle of getting checks, and the ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE of losing your card. They need to implement a card pin to access money without a card in case you lose it, or work out a way to get a new one faster than two weeks, because you CANNOT ACCESS YOUR MONEY AT ALL if the card is lost. Not until you obtain a new one. Still, overall it works very, very well.

Usually great. But it won't let me scan and deposit any other check. I can only get my SS benefits through direct deposit. If I have a physical check from anywhere else I can't deposit it. Also, would not let me deposit money into my mother's bank account just because it was a different bank. As far as getting my SS check through direct deposit it's great.

I have had money taken from me by go bank! Customer service support told me that I was in the negative of a very large amount of money due to an overdraft and go bank DOES NOT DO OVERDRAFT!!! The Customer service support team cannot speak understandable English and were NOT WILLING TO HELP ME AT ALL until I DEMANDED to speak with a SUPERVISOR!!! The app doesn't open or let you access your account like I'm trying to pay my mechanic and I cannot on the app!!! If not for UBER I would not bank with them

The company has paid for positive reviews of their app. Do not use this company they are not a bank and are worse than Bank of America. Your better off getting a reloadable card Go bank will hold onto your money claiming insufficient funds even if there's more than enough in the account Customer service will hang up on you and close chats seconds after asking if you're still there. Even if you reply a second after they type it. Go bank customer service is about as good as sitting on a thumbtack.
