Description
Gofigure for Chord Electronics is a convenient configuration app that allows you to easily view and modify the Wi-Fi, networking, Bluetooth, and playback modes of your Poly streaming device. Gofigure communicates via Bluetooth (BLE) and has the additional benefit of allowing you to check the firmware, mac address, SD card status, etc. Quick Play functionality is also included, if required, which enables the simple playback of MPD playlists stored on the micro SD card.

Great app, followed the instructions on the Chord Electronics website and Poly (v2.0) is working like a dream with my Mojo DAC. Streaming from Tidal is a breeze and having Roon is a boon.

Absolutely terrible. Interface is sluggish and fails to respond, consistently fails to connect to the Poly. It simply doesn't work and means I will have to return the Poly. I have a cheaper Fiio Bluetooth device that connects instantly, if this software could do that it would be something, and I may be a little more forgiving, but it doesn't even come close to a device that cost less than £100. I am extremely disappointed. Edit. I left the Poly and mojo connected to each other, switched off and charging overnight. To my absolute surprise when I switched the Poly on in the morning I was able to connect via Bluetooth to my phone, create a hotspot and connect successfully. The Poly appeared in BubbleUPnP, and I was able to stream from Soyuz. I did nothing different to the day before but for some reason it just worked and has continued to just work. I previously gave this 1 star, I'm upping that to 4 stars because everything just works now, however the headache of the previous day is not forgotten.

I find it difficult to understand how a company that makes such brilliant hardware can produce an app as bad as this. Neither the Android nor the IOS versions work reliably, often failing to detect my Hugo2/2go combo. Fiddling about with Bluetooth and hotspot mode every time I use it takes a lot of the enjoyment out of listening to music when I eventually get it to work. A complete rethink and rewrite is required.

The app was buggy from the start, it seemed to not easily connect and then sometimes forget the POLY Bluetooth device it was connected to. And then after a couple of hours of operation, it stopped working altogether. The POLY Bluetooth connection also stopped working, so it was totally unusable. I went through 3 POLY units and the end result was always the same, they stopped working completely after 1–4 hours of operation. Very disappointed in Chord Electronics, I don't think they tested

Very clunky and not intuitive. Just stopped connecting to Poly after last update. Now the app claims to be not compatible with an android version I'm not running and won't open. Really poor.
