Golden Basket

Golden Basket - a catching game set on a country farm, where a wicker basket moves along the bottom of a dirt road and collects what drops from above. Two round arrow buttons in the lower corners of the play field control the basket, and holding a button keeps it sliding in that direction until it reaches the edge of the screen. Golden eggs, nests and corn add ten points each when they land inside the basket, while crates, feathers, hay bundles and pitchforks take away one of the three lives shown in the top panel. That panel also holds the current score and the number of the current wave. Every twelve objects that appear open a new wave: the fall becomes about seven percent faster, objects come out more often and the share of unusable items grows up to forty five percent. A round ends when all three lives are gone, and the closing panel shows the result of that round together with the top result reached so far. A pause button in the corner of the top panel freezes the field, the falling objects and the controls, and offers resuming the same round, starting it over or returning to the main screen. From the main screen a list of the eight top results opens, along with a short rules panel and a settings panel where vibration and visual effects are switched on or off, difficulty is set to easy, normal or hard, and the whole list of results is cleared. Difficulty changes the fall speed and how often objects come out, and it applies from the next round. All settings and results are saved and stay available after the app is closed.
