Good Gut

Good Gut is a user-friendly app designed to help you enhance your gut health by focusing on one key factor: plant diversity. Scientific research has shown that a diverse diet rich in plant foods can have a profound impact on gut health, digestion, and overall well-being. Good Gut makes it easy to track your plant-based food intake, set goals, and see your progress.

Why Plant Diversity Matters for Gut Health

Our gut microbiome is a complex ecosystem made up of trillions of bacteria and other microorganisms. A diverse gut microbiome is linked to better digestion, a stronger immune system, improved mental health, and even a lower risk of chronic diseases. The key to maintaining a healthy and diverse gut microbiome is a varied diet that includes a wide range of plant foods, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds. These foods provide the essential fibers and nutrients that feed the beneficial bacteria in your gut.

However, tracking plant diversity can be challenging—there are so many different foods to choose from, and it's easy to lose track of how many unique plants you're eating each day. That's where Good Gut comes in. This app simplifies the process by allowing you to easily log and track the plant-based foods you consume, giving you clear insights into your diet and how it contributes to your gut health.
