Useful search app with some slightly odd features e.g. Searching for *plan* doesn't work. This is not one of those programs that spends hours building huge indexes. It's small and fast (if you know your file extension). I had some difficulties but it was my fault. I assumed file name search on word would work as *word*. It doesn't. You need to put in wildcards in yourself. Not a problem but something to know.

It wasn't able to find the content in even _widely populated_ terms. .TXT, .DOCX. . . Nothing. Back to AndroSearch.

I've used this program for years and it's been great. It's fast and small. Unfortunately on my new android 12 phone, I can't find any way to get it to search the sd card. I've given it the files' permission it asks for, but it didn't appear on the all files permission page and there doesn't seem to be a way to add it. Sadly this renders it pretty useless on 12 which is a great shame.
