Excellent app. Set up envelope, fill it with funds, spend your funds. When envelope runs out, stop spending. Super easy to understand. You get 10 free envelopes for free on monthly and another 10 for annual cycles. It even has hashtags to monitor expenses across envelopes. It also has reports, so you'll see charts and graphs. Login in app or web. Web interface is easier to use when setting up. I hope the web interface "import bank transactions" feature would work though. Easily a five-star app.

My wife and I have used a competitor envelope budget app for over a decade. We recently realized that all the "bells and whistles" were making us complacent. We needed something simple but also a tool that requires a little work and the right kind of work. Budgeting software should help you decide what to do with your money today, not in some arbitrary future month that hasn't happened yet. GB meets that need for us. I'd give GB 5 stars if envelope groups were supported on Android.

I created an envelope name, and it was asking me Log in. When I wrote the name of the envelope, it rejected it. I got stuck there n therefore rewarded u only *.

Doesn't work. Has random transactions I never set and can't delete, keeps duplicating income and doesn't allow me to clear the envelopes to start a new budget. Useless for its purpose. Guess I'll stick to excel

I'm glad there was a trial - though it didn't have enough envelopes. But the user interface is terrible. This app needs some serious work on the user experience. It's 2026, this looks it was written in 1996. The mobile app isn't clear, text overwrites display. It doesn't scale to screen. I heard good things about this app - but I don't know who was writing those reviews now. It's, a quick uninstallation for me.
