I've used good rec for years for soccer and volleyball. However, my friend who is a long time host (over 300 sessions) was recently racially abused at a session (with many witnesses). The abuser has been reported numerous times with no action from good rec and has also been banned from other organizations in the city. Good rec finally banned him, but also saw fit to remove my friends hosting privileges. Punishing the victim is insane. You're insane. Find pick-up sports elsewhere.

I really like the app, but right now there's probably a management issue or something because they cancel many games last minute, left and right. They don't bother checking in with the venues if their games are happening. They wait for all players to show up, for the venue to turn them down, and they cancel last minute. Doesn't matter if you're coming from far away, you'll just have to take on the pill. Very frustrating experiences, unfortunately.
