Comments on Google Reader for Android
★★★★★
Easy and simple I read multiple RSS feeds everyday, and Google's Reader is my favorite. It syncs across all my devices and PC's through Google. Its simple, and easy.
★★★★★
Good reader I only use this for the synchronization, otherwise not different than any other RSS reader. I can't believe "mark previous as read" is gone!
★★★★★
Good RSS reader Simple, clean UI that has learned from the competition. I wish auto rotation didn't return you to the top of an article but kept you in the same place. Also, why can't I just select what feeds sync for offline reading? This is especially annoying for new installs(nothing at that point is "frequently read") and feeds that update very sporadically. Fix those things and it gets 5 for being a top-notch RSS reader that doesn't try and shove "Social Reading" or some other similar BS in my face.
★★★★★
Decent reader But please fix the annoying refreshing while reading feeds, which causes the current location to be lost.
★★☆☆☆
Update? This is a horrible update. I don't see a ui change, no +1 ability, sharing is horrible, especially on Google +. Def going back to a 3rd party app. Please let us disable to swipe to next article "feature"
★★☆☆☆
The old reader was a better reader. Problems... Loads slowly. Keeps force closing. Does not always mark read articles. Some articles went away for no reason. Ugh. Bring match the older reader or fix this one. I wish I did not update.
★★☆☆☆
Useless for offline This app used to cache article for offline use. Now when there is no connection (e.g. on London Tube) you can't read articles - just a 'loading' screen. Why bother making an app which only works online - isn't that just a website? Unfortunately, the app is now useless for commuting.
