Love it...works just like it's supposed to! Audio messages would be nice tho... Lack of RCS isn't a dealbreaker! Many more troubles with Google Messages than Google Voice!

Barely tops 4 since it's my main app. Needs work on connection issues. A lot of times calls go to voice mail or phone doesn't seem it's in tune with the app meaning it's on stand by mode of some sort. Been using the app for 5 years, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to glitches and connection issues and carrier. Just needs a lil more additions such call forward, notification text sender, more texting options like what the carriers offer. fast-forward to May 2026: App improved

Fix your app tried getting code sent to phone to verify personal number never received code. Tried exiting app and tried again now app says I have to verify with another phone

*edit* "The FCC has not fully implemented strict "Know Your Customer" (KYC) regulations yet...... Proposed Requirements: The proposed rules would require voice service providers to rigorously verify...., re-verify information periodically, and demand more details from high-volume customers." I'm not a high-volume customer and still not going give no gov ID *original* it is now asking for age and gov ID verification I will not be giving Google that kind of information and no one should

I uninstalled this app, and I am still getting spam calls from Google Voice every 5 minutes. Very irritating. I might have to change my whole provider and phone number😡
