Die elektronische Patientenakte der Gothaer

Die elektronische Patientenakte (ePA) bringt die Digitalisierung im Gesundheitswesen voran und erleichtert Leistungserbringer*innen wie Ärztinnen und Ärzten den Austausch von Informationen und Unterlagen untereinander und mit Patient*innen. Wer die Daten einsehen darf, entscheiden Sie als Patient bzw. Patientin selbst. Sie können unterschiedliche Berechtigungen verteilen und haben über eine App jederzeit Zugriff auf Ihre Befunde.

Was ist die elektronische Patientenakte (ePA)?
Die ePA ist Ihr persönlicher, sicherer Speicherort für Ihre Gesundheitsdaten. Welche Medikamente hat der Kardiologe verschrieben? Wann ist zuletzt ein Röntgenbild der Zähne erstellt worden? In der ePA sind alle wichtigen Informationen gespeichert.

Die Daten liegen auf einem zentralen, gut gesicherten Server, sodass Ärzte/Ärztinnen, Apotheker*innen und anderes medizinisches Fachpersonal von jedem Ort aus darauf zugreifen können – wenn die Patien-ten bzw. Patientinnen es erlauben.
Die ePA soll unter anderem dazu beitragen, unnötige Doppeluntersuchungen zu vermeiden und die Behandlungsqualität zu verbessern. Denn Therapien können besser aufeinander abgestimmt werden, wenn alle Informationen vorliegen.

Sie als Patient*in entscheiden darüber, welche Unterlagen in die ePA aufgenommen werden und wer sie betrachten darf.
