Press "Start" button to start logging GPS data. To stop logging, press the "Stop" button

Many good features well done: nice tracking, camera integration and ability to upload tracks in any format I'll ever use. Easy on the battery. I wish the displayed track were smoother, or had option to show just the location dots. The current track looks like a drunkard's walk at 10 sec sampling. The last star? When the app can run in background and be summoned from the notification. The current 'do you really want to exit?' prompt is clunky.

Awesome app Able to log the point accurately. But it would be good if can auto upload to Dropbox instead of having to manually save the file and manually upload to drop box.

I like this app because it doesn't try to do anything other than just record my #%@&ing GPS coordinates within a given time range. I don't need social media features. I don't need to run faster than my friends. I don't need to upload my location to a public website, so I can be taken out by Ukrainian special forces. I just want to know how far I ran last Thursday. I'm giving 4⭐️, tho, b/c maybe 1 out of 15 times the app wonks out trying to save my session and loses the entire record 😖👎

The app works very well. I was able to set a 10-second sampling interval, and the data points were very accurate. (The program allows as often as 1 sec.) I used the data share option to download both .kml and .CSV files, and I was able to view a breadcrumb trail map, and load the time stamped location points into a database. I had a question on data download, and the technical support email responded in a few hours with the answer. So great app and support.

Looks pretty. But I could find no way to get the saved file off my device. While I have com.peterhohsy.gpsloggerpro directories, all they contain is a cache dir. File is clearly there, can see it in other on device apps, but I need it elsewhere.

Paid for it, set it for 30 second intervals, went on a 5-hour excursion I was supposed to be recording. At the end I could see the last few minutes accurately recorded, couldn't get the rest back Now it says no data to save at all Too late for refund ============= Just saw the response from the developer. Had 13 satellites when I started, and the track looked good when I checked about halfway through our trip It's probably something with the "stop" operation.

Doesn't work reliably anymore. Doesn't start, or record, or save, depending on its mood I guess. I hate software updates. OLD REVIEW: Simple and does the job. The only problem I see is it sometimes displays long straight lines as if it did not record anything in between. But displays correctly when you save the track.
