Fix for “Android status bar overlays GPS Test navigation bar:” 1. Start GPS Test. 2. Then start any other app of your choice. 3. Go to “split-screen mode.” (Google it.) 4. When split screen shows GPS Test as second app, its navigation bar should be in the clear. Tap the app 3-button menu icon. 5. In drop-down menu, tap Settings | General Settings; tap “Hide The Status Bar” to toggle it ON. 6. Exit GPS Test. All this only needs to be done ONCE. This setting will persist.

I love this app, but it's currently useless in Android 16. I can't press any buttons at the top or bottom because the app is behind the system bars.

Totally unusable on a pixel 9a. Buttons at top don't work because they are behind the info like time battery %. Buttons at bottom are halfway off the screen.
