Update 3/13/26: App finally works well again! Doesn't crash, and remembers your place in a sermon. Old: My wife and I have listened to John MacArthur with the Grace to You app every weekday for years. But absolutely can't stand the new app. Constantly crashes. Made it through one day with the new 1.0.2 release on Android, now today it keeps crashing at the same spot.

it's been nice after a year of a dumpster fire of an app to listen to J-Mac again. Unfortunately there mist have been a recent update that screwed things up again. Now I can only listen with my screen on. It shuts off when I shut my screen off. Why are these developers always breaking what's not broken??

After this latest update, when my phone screen times out, this kills the audio when I'm listening to a sermon. It didn't do this before the latest update. Google Pixel 8 pro.

Awful. Recent update makes sermons shut off when screen goes black. Changing settings or reinstalling doesn't fix. I was already annoyed when they got rid of the old app. Now downloaded files no longer go to phone as well. Also, so many sermons are gone now. Sermons still glitch up at times and doesn't save the time frame at times. Fix your app or go back to the old one.
