Pick your paper and start drawing. It is the squared paper from your school notebook, on your phone, and it never runs out.

Six papers come with it. Square grid in 2, 4, 5, 7 or 10 mm, or 1/8, 1/5, 1/4 and 1/2 inch. Engineering paper with fine 1 mm squares and a bold line every centimetre, or tenths with a bold line every inch. Dot grid for journals. Isometric triangles for drawing in 3D. Lined paper in narrow, college and wide rule with a red margin. Music staff paper in three sizes. Lines come in green, blue, grey or black, on A4, Letter, A5 or Legal, standing up or on its side.

The line that measures itself. Choose Line, drag from one corner to another, and the line jumps onto the grid so it is perfectly straight. While you drag, a little tag says how long it is: 12 squares, 3 by 4 squares, 25 mm, 2.75 in. Walls, fences, shelves and diagrams come out exactly the size you meant.

Squares you can colour in. Choose Fill and tap a square to colour it, or drag to colour a whole row. Tap again to clear it. On isometric paper it fills triangles, so you can shade the faces of a cube. The grid stays on top, so a filled chart still reads square by square.

Paper that prints the size it says. Print any page and the squares come out at their true size: a 5 mm square measures 5 mm on the paper, a quarter inch square is a quarter inch. The page is sent to the printer at the exact sheet size so nothing gets shrunk to fit. Want a pad of empty paper? Print blank sheets of any kind without drawing anything at all.

A pen that feels like a pen. Draw with your finger, or use a stylus and the line gets thicker as you press harder. With a stylus your palm and fingers stop drawing and only move the page, and the back of an eraser pen rubs out. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in on the tiny squares. Undo and redo the last 80 steps.
