BUILD YOUR OWN RULES

• Triggers: SMS, MMS, Samsung Chat+ (RCS), messenger notifications (KakaoTalk, LINE, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram) and missed calls.
• Conditions: sender, keyword or number prefix — or catch everything.
• Actions: SMS to a number you set, or app push to your paired device.
• Each rule toggles on/off; results are logged in Transfer History.

DELIVERY ACTIONS

SMS action — the matched message is sent as an SMS to the number you set.
App push action — matched messages arrive on the paired device: queued while offline, listed in the App Alerts tab.
A Wi-Fi tablet with no SIM works as a receive-only device — it needs only pairing and notification permission, never SMS or contacts.

REQUIRED PERMISSIONS (to run your rules)

1. RECEIVE_SMS — Detects the incoming SMS that triggers a rule.
2. RECEIVE_MMS, RECEIVE_WAP_PUSH — Detect the MMS trigger; RECEIVE_WAP_PUSH is the technical prerequisite for MMS on Android.
3. READ_SMS — Reads the message and sender to evaluate rule conditions.
4. SEND_SMS — Executes the SMS action when a rule matches.
5. READ_PHONE_STATE — Detects the missed-call trigger from phone state changes.
6. READ_CALL_LOG — Gets the caller's number for a missed-call rule (Android 10+ no longer includes it in phone state broadcasts).
7. READ_CONTACTS — Shows a saved contact's name instead of a bare number.
8. POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Shows rule results and incoming app pushes.
9. RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Resumes your rules after a restart.
10. REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS — Keeps rules running in battery saver or doze mode.
11. Notification Access (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) — Required for the RCS, Chat+ and messenger triggers. Samsung Messages (Chat+) and Google Messages deliver RCS as app notifications, not SMS broadcasts, so this is the only way to read RCS content and sender information. Used solely to run your forwarding rules; other apps' notifications are never read, stored or transmitted.

DATA HANDLING

• The SMS action stays entirely on your device: content, call logs and contacts are matched locally and sent straight to the number you chose. No server involved.
• The app push action reaches your other device over the internet: the message is relayed through Google Firebase, retained for up to 30 days after delivery, then deleted automatically. App push is not end-to-end encrypted.
• Why 30 days: long notifications can arrive truncated and an offline device receives late; keeping the original lets the receiver pull the full text or restore a missed alert.
• No account required: Firebase anonymous authentication only — no email, phone number or Google account. Devices use a random installation ID.
• The app is supported by Google AdMob, which collects an advertising ID (AAID), IP address, approximate location (IP-based) and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads.
• In the EEA, the UK and other applicable regions, a consent prompt (Google User Messaging Platform) is shown before personalized ads; if declined, non-personalized ads are served.
