Greater London A-Z Street Map

★★★★★ Best Map for learning London's Roads, forget turn by turn.

★★★★★ The version from this new developer zooms right in & stays there, it used to spring back out which made viewing difficult in the West End. The only complaints I have are that if you switch between the A-Z map and something else like I do, it doesn't stay running and so has to restart almost every time. Also when the developer inevitably tires of it, the app disappears off the Play Store and you cannot reinstall if you need to. This forces you to re-buy it from the next software outfit who has bought the data licence (or possibly just rebranded old one). It doesn't crash my phone (and it is ancient), nor does it uninstall. Does not need wifi or data connection (unless you want to search for somewhere not in the database, which does have an index, by the way (grid reference, what's that for?). I would advise you not to move the program to an SD card however, because mine goes pear shaped on reboot occasionally and shortcuts to any programs on the card might be missing and to all intents & purposes, inaccessible.

★★☆☆☆ How do I get a refund... Doesn't track or even produce a marker, I have this on ios device and it's great!

★★☆☆☆ Since the last week of July, 2020, the app has lost half of its functionality; the GPS doesn't work. If you try to use the find-your-location function the app freezes for 30 seconds, then eventually tells you that no GPS fix can be found at this time. The app is literally half-useless without this function. I have cleared my cache many times; I have fully deleted and re-installed the app many times, but the problem remains. App developer, please, fix.

★★☆☆☆ You are charging £6 for and old map which needs updating as it doesn't fulfil the purpose. London roads have changed rapidly over past 2 years and this map is how it used to be atleast over 2 years ago.
