Running AI locally uses your device's memory. To keep you in control, Green AI features an intuitive Context Usage Pie Chart directly in your chat screen. This visual indicator shows you exactly how much of the AI’s "short-term memory" (token context) is being used. Green: Plenty of memory left. Yellow: Conversation is getting long. Red: Running out of context space (under 1,000 tokens remaining) time to start a fresh chat.
PERSISTENT, SEAMLESS CHAT
Green AI features a clean, distraction-free interface focused on a single, continuous conversation. If you close the app, your chat history is securely saved to your device's local storage. When you reopen Green AI, you can pick up exactly where you left off. The AI natively remembers the context of your current session between messages for natural, stateful interactions.
FULL USER CONTROL
Instant Reset: Tap "New Chat" anytime to instantly and securely erase your local conversation history and clear the AI's temporary memory. Stop Generation: Did the AI give you the answer you needed in the first sentence? Use the "Stop" button to halt the text generation immediately, saving your device's battery and processing power.
HOW IT WORKS (INITIAL SETUP)
To make this offline magic happen, the AI’s "brain" needs to be downloaded to your phone. Install Green AI from the Play Store.
On your first launch, the app will securely download the Gemma 2 model file (approximately 1.9 GB). A Wi-Fi connection is highly recommended for this step. Once the download is complete, the app is fully self-contained forever. No internet is required ever again.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
OS: Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. Storage: You must have at least 2.5 GB of free internal storage space to accommodate the app and the offline AI model. Hardware: For the best text generation speed, a modern Android device with an ARM64 processor and at least 4GB to 6GB of RAM is recommended.
