Description

Die App „Grenzland“ der Bayerischen Landeszentrale für politische Bildungsarbeit richtet sich an „Ausflügler“ in die bayerisch-thüringisch-sächsische Grenzregion. Sie vermittelt historische Einblicke in die Zeit von 1945 bis 1990 und führt an Orte, an denen in diesem Zeitraum besondere Ereignisse geschehen sind.

Tauchen Sie ein in die Geschichte von Menschen und Orten, die unter dem Einfluss des SED-Regimes und der DDR standen. Hören Sie die Geschichten von Menschen, die sich diesem Regime entziehen wollten und ihren Weg in die Freiheit suchten. Erkunden Sie Museen und Gedenkstätten entlang der Strecke und lernen Sie mehr über den historischen Kontext der Deutschen Teilung und der Friedlichen Revolution, mit der die Grenzzäune und Mauern zu Fall gebracht wurden.

Die App führt im Rahmen verschiedener Touren zu historischen Schauplätzen und Erinnerungsorten. Die einzelnen Strecken umfassen jeweils 150 bis 200 Kilometer Wegstrecke, die am besten mit dem Motorrad, Auto oder (E-)Fahrrad zurückgelegt werden können.
