Description
GridMaps is a simple, ad free app that can create dynamicly generated random maps made up of biome tiles. It also allows you to edit any map after it's been generated by the app.
These maps are useful for Dungeon Masters running campaigns, as they allow you to easily keep track of where the party is on the world map.
Because you can export your maps as images, you can then send them to players or print them out at-will.
Can be used to create a map for your fictional world building, eg. Books, D&D or other role-playing games.

Really like this map creator. There are a few things that need improvement though. Bigger maps, and a way of storing maps are things that must be added for this to be fully functional. The grid is also essential. Please take away the option to remove grid. Has ended up ruining maps that way, as you can't reset it. Making maps from scratch is the fun of this app. If you like to make grid maps for games or other use this is a good app.

Nice app! It's user-friendly, no ads, but there's some things I wish could be added. Things like political map different types of inhabitants, Map labels, map scale/distance, also I wish the options doesn't end only with large option.

This app is the best of its kind. However, your options are limited in terms of tile type. Unless I missed the UI, I think that there should be an option to create custom Tiles to add a more a variety. That way, you can personalize your fantasy world even further. Given a few changes, this app has the opportunity to be five stars.

Doesn't look good or work good at all. It's really buggy and won't paint entire sections most of the time which make it really frustrating. Regret spending money on this. Would now recommend.

I need a way to edit the map, save changes, and return later. I also need to be able to click a hex and change that hex. Currently, when you click a Hex, who knows which hex you're changing?! Because it certainly isn't the one I selected.

Stuck in loading limbo for ten minutes now, but I'll keep an eye out for any future updates. With this being the only app using hex grid that I could find within an hour of scrolling, I was excited to find it, but now disappointed that I cannot even use it, please fix this and maybe change the loading bar to show load progress instead of an animation; and you're guaranteed to be rewarded with five stars from this DM.
