When I purchased the paid version a couple of years ago, the developer promised free calls & free text (the free text never happened back then). Now with the paid version, they give the users only 16 free credits a month, which is about 10 minutes of outgoing calls or 45 text messages. Then Groove IP will reclaim the number if it's inactive for some time. I am running the Hangouts app with my Google Voice phone numbers on my cellphones now for free. The Hangouts app has many more features than Groove IP and it's free. It handles several of my Google Voice #'s at once and switching between the numbers is so easy. I can also run my Google Voice numbers on the OBi100/110/200/202 with my DECT 6.0 phones at home. I run this app only because I already paid for it but I don't use it for calls & texting...

Do not install this app it's total scam!!! I paid for a pro version and all was good and I could place and receive free calls, but after a short period of time they start asking for more money to make and receive calls. I'm going to report you to FCC and Google Play store!!! It is a complete scam.
