Comments on Ground News for Android

★★★★★ Mark Ellenberg · Oct 7, 2026

Gives you the news in a straight manner and lets you know the bias.

★★★★★ Crystal Miller · Sep 2, 2026

Love This App! I can see the perspective and angles that the media uses when reporting facts as well as see the news political meaning. This app is a blessing! I don't even need to keep my other news apps on my phone anymore because the app pulls up the news articles and shows their political leaning, so I can simply click on the articles and read.

★★★★☆ Joel Watson · Sep 25, 2026

Good summaries but then many times to read the whole story you have to subscribe or jump through many hoops.

★★★★★ Kendra Delrio · Sep 29, 2026

I love being able to see a story from all different sides and how factual the article I'm reading is. whenever I see something on the news that sounds interesting, I come to Ground News to look it up and understand all sides.

★☆☆☆☆ Dylan Guillory · Sep 2, 2026

Beware of the app, continuing to attempt to charge me after cancelling my subscription. News bias feature works as advertised, but limited coverage unless you have that news publishing company subscription. I would not consider this app an actual news source, but just an overlay or stack for news you already subscribe to

★☆☆☆☆ Brad Cramer · Sep 13, 2026

Bias in the guise of transparency. Normalizes right-wing extremism. Look into the journalism of Eric Rosenfeld for details. Look at who's on the board of Snap wise Inc. This app also bans custom, more secure OSs. Will not run on Graphene OS.
