Description
Groupmuse is bringing chamber music back where it began: the living room. We organize intimate house shows with professional classical musicians, in your neighborhood and around the world. Bring your own drinks, sit on the floor next to a stranger, and dig into music that’s blown minds and throbbed hearts for centuries.
Our mobile app is the easiest way to find upcoming shows and pay the musicians directly, for their time, talent, and dedication to this wonderful art form.
Recent changes: We're back, baby! This version of the app supports COVID-19 safe events, and a whoooollle bunch of under-the-hood upgrades that will allow us to keep this app up-to-date much more easily moving forward!

Went to my first event and was able to pay the artists from the app easily. Great event, great concept and great app.

I have sung for this organization in a private home which was really exciting and fun. I also made a YouTube for the group which was posted and I hope to do more private home gigs as a singer. The group attracts all ages, including young people which is also delightful because young people seem disinterested in classical music.

I LOVE GROUPMUSE! The app does not fully support most of Groupmuse's user authentication options. Whereas the website lets you use the authentication schemes of Google or Instagram or LinkedIn or Facebook (or just a username/password like in the good old days), the app only supports the latter two options. UPDATE: their tech support pointed out that the "who needs passwords?" system is actually compatible with third-party authentication: if you tell the app to log you in with email, and that you've "forgotten" your password, it will send you a link that you can use to log in. That does not break Google authentication for your account on the website. I have not tested whether changing my Google password, which should probably force me to re-authenticate to all Google-authenticated apps, will work. So: good enough for now!

I am a superbly gifted musician, expertly trained in piano at (and with degrees from) the Juilliard School where I studied with great teachers under full-scholarship. An extremely accomplished concert pianist with a dazzling repertory, at the urgent suggestion of an avid fan of mine, I contacted Group Muse, then made available a music-video of a live performance of mine of brilliant playing under battle-conditions at an actual event, as an audition sample. Group Muse never responded!
