Whether your phone is stolen, goes missing, or someone tries to access it without permission, Guardexa can capture evidence that may help you understand what happened and potentially recover your device.

DETECT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Guardexa detects more than failed unlock attempts. With the appropriate protection enabled, it can detect:

• Failed unlock attempts (PIN, password, or pattern)
• Power menu opened while your phone is locked
• Quick Settings opened while your phone is locked

Supported events can trigger evidence capture.

LOCK SCREEN ACTIVITY (OPTIONAL)

Guardexa uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect when the Power Menu or Quick Settings opens while your phone is locked. When protection is active, these events can trigger evidence capture.

The service processes System UI window information to recognize these menus. It does not read your apps, messages, or passwords, or control your device.

The detected menu type is saved with the incident, may appear in optional email alerts, and is sent to Firebase Analytics (Google).

This feature requires your explicit consent before enabling Accessibility access. Failed Unlock Protection works without it.

CAPTURE USEFUL EVIDENCE

Depending on your device, permissions, settings, and access level, Guardexa can:

• Capture front-camera photos
• Take rear-camera photos for additional context
• Record short videos with sound
• Save incident times and detection details
• Record failed unlock attempt information
• Include approximate location when available
• Keep an in-app history of detected incidents

FAST ALERTS. STRAIGHT TO YOUR EMAIL.

When enabled, Guardexa is designed to send available evidence and incident details to your connected email account quickly.

This can be especially useful if your phone is stolen or missing.

Email alerts may include captured photos, detected activity, incident time, and a Google Maps location link when available.

Delivery requires an internet connection and depends on device conditions and successful processing.

OWNER RECOGNITION

Guardexa can compare captured faces with your enrolled face on-device. When it confidently recognizes you, it can skip unnecessary email and notification alerts while keeping the incident in your history.

DISCREET EVERYDAY PROTECTION

Guardexa can keep certain alerts hidden while your phone is locked, so suspicious activity isn't immediately revealed. After unlocking, review your incident history and available evidence.

Captured evidence is stored on your device. If you enable email alerts, selected evidence can be sent using your connected email account.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Some features require Guardexa Pro or may be available during an active preview.

Features and capture results depend on Android restrictions, device capabilities, permissions, settings, and protection status. Not every event produces every evidence type.

Optional Screen Lock Activity detection does not prevent the Power Menu or Quick Settings from being used.

Guardexa does not provide continuous live tracking, prevent theft, or guarantee recovery of a lost or stolen phone.
