To provide its core locking functionality, GuardShield requires the following user-granted permissions:

Display Over Other Apps: Required to display the PIN/Password lock screen directly over your designated apps when they are launched.

Notifications (Optional): Displays active protection status indicators and operational service alerts.

Network Access: Used strictly for essential service maintenance, crash diagnostics, and non-sensitive app updates.

⚙️ AccessibilityService Disclosure:
GuardShield uses the AccessibilityService API solely for the App Lock feature:

Purpose: Detects when your designated locked apps are opened in the foreground to display the security lock screen immediately.

Privacy: It does NOT read passwords, keystrokes, or on-screen content, performs no automated taps, and never collects or shares personal data.

User Control: Granted with your explicit permission and can be deactivated anytime in Android Settings > Accessibility.
