Good word game with some issues. FYI, you do need to pay to unlock most modes. My main problem: Nubbins' dictionary doesn't line up with any commonly used word lists, and there is no way to look up words in-app. There are some valid words that just seem to be random strings, like "ghss". Many 2 and 3-letter words that are valid in NWL/CSW (Scrabble dicts) are not valid in Nubbins. Some proper nouns are okay, but not all. Same with acronyms. More transparency here would be helpful.

This word game is adorable. It is easy to learn and fun to play. Also, it is easy to pause and return to.

When I grab a letter or group of letters, I like to quickly drop them into a spot on the board. The problem is that as I move my finger up, the letters begin to move higher than my finger, so when I let go when my FINGER is touching the spot I want to drop it, the LETTERS get dropped in the space above. Every. Time. And you only get so many undos. It's just not intuitive to let go of the letters on a different spot than my finger is touching

Terrible. The quality of the game is good, but that joy is taken away when you realize you can only play one short game a day. It's a price of $6 just to get the base game and $15 per extra pack and such. I'm uninstalling to save space on my phone. Save yourself the disappointment, don't download it.

An amazing word game! Until you beat the tutorial and figure out you have to pay almost six dollars to play the actual game. You only get one puzzle a day if you don't pay. While I get that you need to make your money. There should be more than just one daily puzzle for those who want to play. Pretty bogus in my opinion. But I respect the hustle. Reduced to one start for the very abrupt way the game makes you pay to play.
