This is the first app to train you to visualize the distance between any two notes, which is fundamental to learning chords and scales. This is exactly what I was needing. I suggest you pay $4.99 and buy the “Guitar Intervals Pack” which opens up all the modules. A world of understanding has been coded into this app. I had first read the Kindle book, "Guitar Intervals Unleashed". The interval training and games in this app proceed where the book left off. The app will help you put into practice what you learned from the book. It will soon become second nature after some practice with this app. Thank you, Nan Molar for all your research, for compiling it into book form, and then developing an app to help us work through understanding intervals.

Best, most comprehensive fretboard trainer. Takes patience, but what better way to make use of a spare 5 minutes here and there! Note location mapping + interval mapping = total fretboard awareness. And that means increased freedom when you play.

Unlocking the app so that it is fully functional is expensive (almost $15 by my count). Way too expensive to practice the ridiculously overcomplicated "method" from the accompanying book you have to buy separately that tries to tell you there's nothing to memorize! Full of pointless acronyms, tables and diagrams of piano keyboards. Better to spend time understanding the guitar's string to string tuning intervals and practicing with the instrument itself.

This is WORTHLESS. Why make such an extensive complicated APP with absolutely "NO Instructions" on how to use it. Side view only, bottom of App not even available to view.
