On the GUITAR NOTES SECTION you can click on the strings and frets of the Guitar to see the corresponding note on the staff, its name and its pitch. It has exercises so you can practice recognizing the notes of the Guitar:
Exercises without a time limit to answer - Basic Level Exercises with time limit to answer - Intermediate Level
After working this exercises you will be able to see a note on the staff and locate it´s position on the fretboard and you will be able to see an specific fret and string and know which is the corresponding note on the staff.
Playing guitar chords or guitar scales is easier if you know how to locate music notes from a guitar sheet music on the guitar fretboard.
Guitar notes can be learned fast with this app. If you want to find out how to play guitar or if you want to use a guitar chords chart this app will be very helpful.

Very useful app. Not rating 5 stars because: - the traffics of the notes
(balls in frets) are very big and not that legible - the game should be
playable in portrait mode, so one could play it with one hand only - the
frets should be spaced unevenly like in a guitar - it would be useful to be
able to practice the strings 1, 2 and 3 separately from 4, 5 and 6

Fret board too small ...hard to click the correct fret. Maybe if I had a touch pen it would be better.
