Gully Ka King

Street cricket, the way it's really played. Houses are the boundary, a window gets you out, and the whole mohalla is watching from the balconies.

TIME IT
The bowler runs in. Your left thumb slides the batter into line with the ball. As it arrives, your right thumb taps the HIT pad: left for the leg side, middle for straight, right for the off side, top to loft it over the field. Perfect timing gets you full power and a slow-motion replay. Mistime it and you edge it to the keeper, or worse.

READ THE BOWLER
Fast bowlers, slower balls hidden behind a fast run-up, spinners who turn it, swing that bends it, yorkers at your toes and bouncers at your helmet. Drive the full ones, pull and cut the short ones.

GULLY RULES
- Any wall, along the ground: FOUR
- The far house, on the full: SIX
- Hit a glass window: OUT
- Lofted out of the gully down a lane: lost ball, OUT
- One tip, one hand: still OUT
- Miss a straight one: bowled

80 CHASES IN THREE GULLIES
Start in Delhi Gully, read the turn in a Mumbai chawl, and face the fast ones in Jaipur Bazaar. Every level is a chase: a target, a few balls and a wicket or two. Win, keep every wicket and finish with a ball to spare for all three stars.

A MOHALLA THAT CHEERS
Fielders run, dive, catch and throw it back. Aunties, uncles and kids on every balcony and roof go wild for every four and six.

AND MORE
- A daily challenge: the same chase for everyone, every day
- Coins for stars and daily wins; spend them on new balls, bat grips and trails
- A timing ring and line guide while you learn, which you can switch off when you're ready
- Plays offline, no sign-up. Link Google or email to carry your progress to a new phone.

Har gully ka apna king. Be this one's.
