I like the whole concept but Gumtree messaging is very hit-and-miss. Notifications don't seem to work in real-time. Would be great if improved

Hi gumtree. I have saved searches set up. When I get an email for results I click on see all matches, ths app opens and matches are for nationwide, not the radius I set on saving search. If click them from the app search alerts they are the radius. Also, when I click on the search bar, my keyboard doesn't pop up I have to click the search box again.

Pointless. Adds are deleted then for weeks after you still get messages about them. If you want a quiet life definitely turn off push notifications.

The latest update has removed most of the search options and replaced them with, what appears to be, a useless Ai categorization system for items. Search terms return unrelated items, the app ignores location settings and shows unrelated items from hundreds of miles away. Every update has made the app worse. It's made gumtree difficult and frustrating to use, and I suspect that's why nobody is using it. There's now hardly any views and nothing is selling.
