I have used 25k scanners and have used 15 dollar ones as well this is by far probably the best one so far the amount of information it tells is amazing. You don't have to pay extra for the information you need you get free updates and the amount of vehicles it covers is crazy. By far dollar for dollar this is clearly far above any other platform out there don't get a 5 dollar one from Amazon spend the money on this you will not be disappointed. it's not slow either

App is a little slow to load and sync with device, but it's understandable considering how powerful this app/device is. Even on a notorious PIA vehicle like a BMW it does most of the things expensive BMW specific scanners do. Two-way OBD communication is a game changer. The ability to run system specific tests and control subsystem components makes troubleshooting much easier and far more accurate even when working with convoluted German "engineering". Great product and a great companion app.

Bought 2 packages of 2 OBD2 code readers to use with this app. None of the 4 code readers would connect. The app claimed the serial numbers were not valid. Contacted GW support and they "put in a ticket" to have them activated. I waited a few days and the serial numbers were still not active. Contacted support again, and they said they put in another ticket. Waited some more but didn't work. Returned all the code readers. App is COMPLETELY unusable without a code reader to connect to.

Still have to buy the gateway, so the "no fees EVER" and the "FCA secure gateway ready" in the advertisement is false, granted you are not paying a subscription for the tool its self, however, my issue is if you delete a report on accident, you can not recover it, and you have to log into the gateway every time you accidently close where you need to sign in at, or hopping from different functions, it should have a temporary trash bin and gateway log in SESSIONS even if it's just logging in monthly

Attempting to update diagnostic list and receive message stating "unable to connect to network." As a result of this I can't preform a scan of my vehicle.
