"HALauncher" is a launcher for displaying and opening non-Android TV applications quickly on the Nexus Player, ADT-1, Nvidia Shield and the Razor Forge, Fire TV.

I use this launcher for my Nvidia Shield, and it has replaced the pre-installed lean back launcher. Lots of settings to set up your home screen the way you want. They have an option to turn off ads for free which is great, but it almost makes you feel guilty if you turn it off :(

Great launcher, if you could please have the apps organized into categories like games, movies, tv etc. rather than handheld, tv etc... Because most people use this in addition to lean back not as a replacement, and we already have tv apps on the apps page and if we had a separate category for games it'd be useful

Great alternative to the Google Ads launcher. If you want to make HA Launcher the default launcher on your Android TV then you need to disable the launcher from Google using adb once you install HA Launcher. You can do it with: pm disable-user --user 0 com.google.android.launcher

Does Not Show As A Launcher. I have installed it on a 2nd gen Fire stick (Fire OS 5.2.6.8) and have attempted to use with Launcher Hijack v3 to set as my default launcher, but it is not recognized as a launcher, therefore I was unsuccessful. I had to install Lean back Launcher, which did work, but I much prefer the customizable features in Ha launcher. BTW, when I tried to use Launcher Hijack v4, it triggered an Accessibility notification on my stick that is unable to be resolved. Please fix. Thanks
