I loved these puzzles so much that I went out on a 4-month search for a store that sold the Penny Press/ Penny Dell LOGIC puzzles. Most only carried Word search or Crosswords. Finally, found one, and I realized that I much preferred mobile version as opposed to pen/paper. So I happily paid for ALL the puzzle packs to continue playing on my phone. I just wish there were more. *UPDATE: They have added more since my last review!!*

I love this app! I've been solving Dell logic problems for years, the old fashion way, by buying their puzzle books. I like that you can easily clear the grid if you make a mistake and need to restart. There is a solution, you don't have to guess, but you do need to run through the clues more than once in order to cross-reference information revealed as the clues progress. I still use paper and pencil to create charts to help me see what isn't obvious on the grid.

On other apps of the same puzzle type I use the hint system to improve my abilities. I go to a point where I cannot get the next part, press for a hint, and then I break down the hint to improve my knowledge base for future games. I have steadily improved using this. The hint system is useless in this app, no matter how far you are into the puzzle it points you to a long solution, no hints. I tried opening an easy and going for a hint, no other input. I was sent directly to the answer, no hint.

All the puzzles are exclusion clues and poorly worded for the sake of making them arbitrarily difficult. Do better.

Free Parking is Pretentious. Not a difficulty issue-just boring AF. Eg: "Enos (who was not the one in a Bowie) and Mr. Libby were both conspicuously late; but they eased one another's embarrassment by arriving simultaneously." Why does any of that bamf matter when time is not a factor in the puzzle grid? It makes no sense. Provided context as previous reply was arbitrary and condescending.
