How It Works When one ear has reduced hearing, the brain tends to rely more heavily on the stronger ear. Over time, this can cause the weaker ear’s auditory pathways in the brain to become underutilized, further reinforcing the imbalance.
Harmonic Recovery works by giving you independent volume control for the left and right channels, allowing you to make sound louder in the weaker ear and quieter (or completely silent) in the stronger ear. This forces the brain to listen more attentively through the ear that normally struggles.
The app also includes an adaptive cycling mode, which intermittently lowers or mutes the sound in your stronger ear at regular, customizable intervals. This creates moments where you hear audio only through your weaker ear, followed by moments where sound returns to both ears.
