🔒 END-TO-END ENCRYPTION Text messages in direct messages are encrypted using ECDH P-256 key exchange with HKDF-SHA256 derivation and AES-256-GCM. Your encryption keys are generated on-device and never leave your phone. Optional encrypted key backup lets you restore across devices using your password.
