HavenMap: Family Safety & SOS

HavenMap keeps your family connected and safe — without giving up your privacy.

Most location apps run your whereabouts through their servers. HavenMap doesn't. Every location is end-to-end encrypted on your phone and delivered straight to your family. Our relay simply forwards the encrypted data and forgets it — there's no database of where you've been, because there's nothing to hack, sell, or subpoena.

No account. No sign-up. No email or phone number. Just create a circle, share an invite, and you're connected.

🔒 Privacy by design
• End-to-end encryption on every update — we literally cannot see your location
• No servers storing your data, no tracking, no ad profiles built from where you go
• No account required — your identity lives on your device
• "Delete everything" wipes your data for good, any time

📍 Real-time location sharing
• See your whole family on one live map
• Choose how you share per circle: precise, approximate (~250 m), or paused
• Battery-friendly background updates that keep working when the app is closed
• Beautiful map styles: Standard, Night, Satellite, and Terrain

🆘 Emergency SOS
• One tap alerts your entire family with your live location
• Loud, full-screen alerts that get through even on the lock screen
• Optional emergency SMS contacts as a backup
• Cancel instantly if it's a false alarm

🚗 Crash detection
• On-device sensors watch for a possible vehicle crash and start an SOS countdown
• All processing happens on your phone — sensor data never leaves the device

⏱️ Safety timer (dead-man's switch)
• Set a check-in deadline before a walk, run, or trip
• If you don't check in on time, your family is alerted automatically

✅ Check-ins & places
• Send quick updates: "I'm home safe," "Running late," or your live location
• Save places like Home, Work, or School and get arrive/leave alerts

🔋 Peace of mind, automatically
• Low-battery alerts so family knows before a phone dies
• Works across multiple family circles at once

Who it's for
Parents keeping an eye on kids, adult children checking on aging parents, couples, roommates, or any group that wants to stay connected and safe — privately.

HavenMap is built on a simple promise: your family should be able to look out for each other without a company looking over your shoulder.

HavenMap is a safety-assistance tool, not a substitute for emergency services. SOS and crash detection depend on your device, connectivity, and settings, and may not work in every situation. In a real emergency, always contact your local emergency number.
