Hay Havoc

Hay Havoc is a hand-drawn trajectory puzzler set inside a sun-warmed barn loft. Instead of pulling a slingshot or aiming an arc, players draw the toss themselves. Every bale launch begins with a finger swipe across the loft: the direction of the stroke sets the bale's heading, and the length of the curve you sketch dictates its speed. The line you draw is the line the bale follows when it leaves your hand, so the puzzle is not "where do I aim" but "what shape do I sign across the air".
Each puzzle is a tiny mechanical scene built from three farm objects. Wooden ramp planks act as inclined collision surfaces that redirect bales by reflection, friction, and angle of incidence. Hayloft springs are zoned launchers that absorb downward motion and convert it into an upward impulse scaled by bale mass, so a heavy bale pops shorter while a light bale rockets higher. Wind volumes are invisible rectangles in the loft air that apply a constant lateral force; heavier bales shrug them off, lighter bales drift sideways through them. These three forces compound, which means a single sketched curve can be re-shaped mid-flight by ramps, snapped vertical by a spring, and then dragged off course by a stray crosswind before it ever reaches the feeding trough.
Scoring is precision-first. Three stars require landing inside the inner core of the trough on the first attempt and within the level's action par. Two stars are awarded for a near-center landing or one extra try. One star is given for any successful landing. Stars convert into hay coins, and hay coins are spent at the Barter Shed for three distinct hint tools: a Ghost Trail that simulates the predicted path before launch, a Slow Loft that halves world speed during a single attempt for finer reading of physics, and a Force Vision overlay that visualizes wind force vectors and spring power as live arrows during play.
The world coordinate system is virtual and resolution-independent, so the loft renders identically on a small phone, a wide tablet, or a foldable. Two original hand-painted hayloft backgrounds rotate between the indoor barn and the outdoor field stages, and four transparent farm sprites render the bales, springs, and wind currents directly on the simulation canvas. Twelve puzzles ship at launch, escalating from a single open toss into chained ramp cascades, spring relays, crosswind corridors, and mass-tuned final challenges. There are no timers and no failure penalties beyond your attempt count, so every level rewards experimentation with the curve you draw rather than reflex speed.
