I would not recommend buying this game, even if it's so cheap. Honestly, I wouldn't even bother to write this review if it was free to play, but seeing as they want money for it, I just have to say that this game is nothing more than a disappointment. The gameplay is just plain boring. There is no depth to it. The policies you choose to don't matter, they are just icons you can spend your points on, so that you get more support, and then you win, the end. Nothing more than that. I have to say that the second faction (the illuminati cats?) is an interesting idea, unfortunately it gets old really quick, as they take forever to finish their sentences at the bottom of the screen, so soon you have 100 points, you're halfway through in the way of momentum, and you can't spend said points, as that will result in so many protests that all your support will just disappear. But to be fair, this one may be just me not understanding what is the correct way to victory. I also have to say that the controls leave something to be desired. Sometimes... actually, basically all the time I have to keep tapping the bubbles until the game decides to register it, it's really unresponsive, and especially annoying when dealing with protests. The only thing in this game that I have no complaints about would be the graphics, and still they are just basic, ok, nothing special or interesting. There is potential to this game, don't get me wrong. They could really go in any direction with it - like after getting into power you could have to keep your country from falling apart because of the consequences of your pre-election policies. You could add interaction with the opposition to the game, more meaningful than just a number on the screen. The problem is, that didn't do any of that.
