Description
Artists have always needed a quick and easy reference to help them understand the anatomy & forms of their portrait models. The Head Study App, is that resource.
These portrait models were created to make the study of portraiture easier, but also to enhance your knowledge of the human form. The appearance of the face can be understood best by studying what is underneath the surface. The simplified planar head and the skull in this app are made with the same proportion to make this comparison as clear as possible.

Pretty great app-haven't had any weird glitches or bugs, and I love the range of colors, lighting, models and endless adjustments. I have to say that the lighting options are especially AMAZING. Very smooth and easy to use. I would love options for different heads, like female or child proportions, and maybe ways to toggle the facial features, i.e. longer nose, deep-set eyes, stronger brow... All in all, it's good, and I love the convenience for sketching and exercises! Thanks :)

This is an amazing resource. You can specify two light sources with their own intensities and hues. Yes, I wish there were more head models, but already for the price this app is excellent as a tool and easy to use. Changing the lighting angles sometimes feels fiddly, but I am getting the hang of it.
