I tried 5 different heart rate monitor apps and this one was the best. For a free app I definitely recommend. It is pretty accurate. The reading has been the same as why blood pressure monitor. Easy to use, simple layout, settings and options for the sound on or off, flashlight on or off, you can choose how many seconds you want. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but I am not sure if that is my camera layout or not getting my finger in the correct spot.

Don't install this app if you have anxiety and one of those phones that have the flashlight far from the main camera! It will report inaccurate values! I tapped out 80 BPM, the app reported 108 BPM! This said, the app itself is well-made, except for the obviously inaccurate readouts. This has caused me to have a panic attack or two. I would avoid this app for now. Probably phone heart rate monitors in general to be honest, it's not worth obsessing over.

Absolutely did not work with my Pixel 7 Pro. No functional directions were provided in app.
