This is the very best verse-by-verse, word-by-word, syllable-by-syllable reading/pronunciation program/app that I have found on Windows or on Android. This program/app has many wonderful and invaluable elements, (especially for someone like me, learning Biblical Hebrew). The wonderful tools inside: * this app is easy to open & close; * although the Biblical text is in Hebrew, the names of the Biblic books, the chapters & verse numbers, as well as all navigational tools are in English; * this includes all the nikkud vowel points and other vocalizations markings; * the size of the Hebrew characters and vowel points are large enough to read clearly; * a simple touch on each Hebrew word displays the meaning of each Hebrew word shows up - "word-by- word;" * one can easily choose between 3 different pronunciation traditions; * pronunciation transliteration along with syllables division can be displayed; * it is also easy to control how fast or slow the verses are read. * easy to share between devices: Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone * affordable, can even purchase one Bible book at a time.

Cool application with the Tanaka, torah, being made available for download. The application has an easy-to-use user interface. The Tanaka is available for reading, listening, with pausing, starting, stopping. I listened to the full readings, and I was impressed. Highly recommended

Lower the price Like the other commentator said you have to pay to play. If it was 2 dollars or so I would have bought it and you guys would have made plenty of money when it went viral but 10 dollars? Nah. Lower the price. This is a great app and it's going to help people as soon as you lower the price.

I Don speak/understand hebrew, but I so much would love to. It is sad that when jumping from Gen. 1 to chapter 2 a pop message showed up saying I had to purchase the full version to be able to read/hear it. There is men profiting of the Word of God... Men always going for the money, finding ways to tell others things such as "the word is free the material/work isn't" what hypocrites. Have a real job and out of those profits get the funding, so you can then help spread the word. Sad.

Not really helpful. Reading voices (3 dialects) the "modern" doesn't sound natural 3 speeds: #1 = s...l...o...w... = torture; #2 kinda ok but still slow = boring; #3 moderate but not fast or normal. It's VERY choppy, syllables are shorter than the spaces between them. :(
