I'm Iranian girl. My native language is Persian. (farsi) unfortunately there isn't persian native language option for choosing. Fortunately, I've studied english at university, and I can read the lessons. Please, add persian language either (as native) for the learners who don't know English well. سپاسگذارم 🌼😘 Totally, I definitely like this app. I'm new at Chinese language. I first downloaded this 10 years ago and went back to it today after I became frustrated with duolingo. It's changed alot, obviously "borrowing" UI and methods from duolingo, which are the good parts. However, Hello Chinese is way more effective at teaching the language. It takes time to explain the foundation of what you are learning, lessons are more cohesive, native speakers are used to teach pronunciation. It is better in almost every way, even for the free version. I will likely upgrade

I think it’s amazing that this app teaches you how Chinese people actually use the language. When I was studying for the Cambridge Advanced exam, I found it frustrating to learn expressions that are not really used, even in academic or professional contexts. This is a very good app!

Great app for learning Chinese as a beginner. You need premium to go past unit 4, but it is a low cost and is a yearly purchase.

I had made it all the way up to 5, ordering at a café, then I hit a paywall. It's only free for that amount of time. And then you have no choice, you either pay or you don't get to learn anymore. Wasted a month of my time. It's in the store as free. -Nàxiē kamikaze hěn bù Changsha-. AI is teaching me for free.
