Hero Hero is similar to Patreon, and, IMO, easier to use. I listen to The Check-in pod with Bethany and Dennis. They are hilarious.

Be careful, after 6 months I found out that I am having regular payments which I did not ask for. It was clearly saying when I subscribed that it would be a month only. Also, when I see my app, it says free membership... I subscribed through Google and have confirmation email about it, chat with a support team advised I can cancel it in the app, but there are missing the parts enabling the cancelation in my app, or they are inactive.... Now the support team stopped answering...

Does not support dark mode, does not allow creation of playlists, does not remember played episodes, does not allow browsing while playing an episode... this is quite annoying and just plain bad to use, don't see any advantages having it...
