Minimalist: Hex Launcher is optimized to bring the app you want directly to your thumb. Nothing more, nothing less.

Performant: Hex Launcher was written from the ground up to be as small and fast as possible. It will not drain your battery, and it will not leave you waiting.

Private: Hex Launcher does not track you. It contains no ads, and no analytics of any kind. It can't even connect to the internet. If you want privacy, you will find it with Hex Launcher.

Hex Launcher was designed to get you into your apps as quickly as possible, and to prevent you from mindlessly looking for a new way to doom scroll. It provides a search-first UI that puts your results directly under your thumb, and allows you to set up two apps for fast access with gestures.
Take Back Your Privacy

Hex Launcher does not contain trackers, analytics, or data gathering mechanisms; it can't even connect to the internet. With Hex Launcher, what happens on your home screen stays on your phone.
If you want to help the developer, you can choose to enable on device logging and provide bug reports via email. These options are off by default. Your phone and your data are yours.

★★★★★ Great launcher (I'm sure it will get even better over time!). Reminds me of OnePlus 3 Hexa launcher which could provide further inspiration. Thanks for your work! --Update-- very good, very efficient and intuitive launcher indeed! Thanks again!! I wasn't able to find the repo for the OnePlus 3 launcher I was referring to earlier, sorry. Suggestions: another ring of 12 quick access apps, please? Bigger icons for the 8 (+12) quick access apps, please?

★★★★★ The most intuitive and fluid launcher I've ever used, and literally since I've downloaded it on a previous phone has dominated as the only one I can use. Casts a shadow over the competition and is FOSS. Thank you to the humble developer. Only feedback from me regarding further improvement is a minor, petty bug (maybe not even with Hex; very well could be Android/Samsung) in which every now and then the wallpaper is suddenly reset to the lame default stock one, and I can't change in app. Worth it

★★★★★ Launcher looks promising, and I can install it via f-droid ^^. What in my opinion should to be improve is apps from that tiny menu (when you touching the screen) because right now they are too small (or even tiny).

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't show apps in app choser or drawer (although they do populate in the "Show All Apps" button in the settings). Makes the launcher impossible to use, as I can't launch anything. I saw a similar issue on the GitHub that was closed without any further explanation or indication that it was fixed. Hope this is solved soon because I really like the concept behind this launcher, but I've never tried it. I'd love to give it a fair shake. Note: I use a Pixel 7 Pro with stock Android 13
